COLD WEATHER ALERT!

If you have already purchased any tender annuals please continue to be aware of the cold weather, possible frost, and maybe a bit of snow.  This cold weather is likely to continue for about a week.  These annuals have been grown in a climate controlled greenhouse and can easily be damaged or destroyed in this type of weather.  Keep your plants at 55-60 degrees at all times and keep them out of the wind. We know how anxious everyone is to get out there and get growing, especially when we get a few nice days, but this Minnesota and we probably have at least a few more weeks of up and down temperatures.

PLANTING WORKSHOPS

SPACE STILL AVAILABLE FOR OUR PLANTING WORKSHOPS!  We have workshops this Saturday April 15th at 10am and 1pm.  Pre-registration and a $20 deposit required.  The deposit includes the patio pot or hanging basket container, the soil to fill it, and the care of your pot until it is grown and ready for pick up around mid-May.  You choose and purchase the plants you want to fill your pot.  Come and enjoy time with friends, the warmth of the greenhouse, and the smell of dirt!  For more information or to sign up call our office at 763-856-2441 or on-line @ www.nelsonnursery.com

OPEN TOMORROW!

WE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN TOMORROW APRIL 12TH!...and we are ready! Come on in and see what we have for the 2017 season!  The Bare Root Barn will be open with a large selection of MN hardy trees, shrubs, evergreens and more! Garden Center hours are M-F 9-6, Sat. 9-5 & Sunday 10-4.  

PLANTING WORKSHOPS

OUR OFFICIAL OPENING DATE IS NEXT WEDNESDAY APRIL 12TH, but.... because it is going to be so "BEAUTIFUL" tomorrow we will be open from 10-4! Then we will see you again on April 12th. Garden Center hours will be M-F 9-6, Sat. 9-5, Sunday 10-4. Closed Easter Sunday.  Let the season begin!!
