LADIES ON THE LOOSE

The next Ladies on the Loose event is almost here!  Mark you calendars for Saturday November 9th, 10-4.  "Shop Candy Cane Lane" is a great kick off to the Christmas season!  Nelson Nursery will have discounts on selected Fall and Christmas decor.  We will also be serving hot chocolate and Christmas cookies.

Another fun activity you could do that day at Nelson Nursery is create your own Evergreen Patio Tub.  The cost is 29.99 + tax and includes all the greens for a 12" patio tub, pine cones, berries and a bow.  Other floral pics are available for purchase.  Pre-registration is required.

PUMPKIN DAYS

Join us this Saturday for our annual Pumpkin Days!   Pick out and purchase your favorite pumpkin. 
We supply the paints and carving tools for the kids to have fun and be creative.  And the best part is that you
leave the mess to us!   Kids can also have fun in our two straw mazes.   One if for the bigger kids (alittle bit scary)
and there is one just for the little tykes.   Don't forget your camera for some great pictures!

Kids Fairy Gardening

Our 'Lil' Roots Club meeting on Tuesday, August 20th, at 6pm, still has a few spots left for making a Fairy Garden.
We will supply the container, growing medium and a few items for the garden.   Kids can bring their own small items to display in their Gardens from home, or we have a nice display to buy from.

FIND WALDO

Find Waldo in Zimmerman starts July 1st!!  Go to Reading Frenzy Book Shop to get your passport for this fun scavenger hunt.  Your passport travels with you and tells you of all the participating stores that Waldo is hiding in.  He will be here at Nelson Nursery hiding somewhere!

HYPERTUFA POT CLASS

HYPERTUFA POT CLASS

EARTH DAY

Happy Earth Day everyone!....although it seems a little more like Snow Week!  Looks good for the weekend though!  Hang in there everyone!!

ZHS PROM

It was such fun to have the ZHS Prom attendees at Nelson Nursery on Saturday!  There were so many great looking couples that came to our colorful and warm greenhouse to take pictures.  It was a great afternoon!!

PROM PICTURES

We're excited and ready for ZHS Prom attendees to be at Nelson Nursery tomorrow for some picture taking!  Fun to see all the beautiful dresses and handsome couples!!  We may have snow outside, but it's warm and colorful in the greenhouse!

Our Garden Center will be closing early again today.  Not many are venturing out to shop after the storm.  We will be closing at 5pm.

LIL' ROOTS

Sorry to say we have decided to postpone our Lil' Roots club meeting for this afternoon due to the weather.  We will be rescheduling and will let everyone know the new date. 

POT MAKING WORKSHOP

LIL' ROOTS

Our Lil' Roots Club will have their first meeting of this year next Thursday April 18th at 4pm.  The theme will be "Celebrate Earth Day".  The kids will have story time, craft, and snack.  There is no cost for our club meetings, and they usually last about an hour.  Space is limited so pre-registration is required.  Kids must be accompaniied by an adult.  HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE CLUBHOUSE!

BRING ON SPRING!

It's spring in our greenhouses!  They are filling up more each day with plants, gifts, and garden decor'.  Wouldn't this peacock look awesome in the middle of a garden!  He is over 6 feet tall!!  We are opening April 16th at 9am.  Stop in, look around, and get some ideas so you are ready when the warm weather finally does arrive!!
