Spring is in the Air

First week of planting hanging baskets and patio tubs. "Spring is in the air" at Nelson Nursery. We will keep you posted on our progress. Have a great weekend everyone!

Garden Social / Planting Workshop

Our annual event will be on Sat., March 3rd.   You can choose from a 10am or 2 pm workshop. SPACES STILL AVAILABLE!
We are making it  more fun  this year -- light refreshments
will be served, a door prize drawing will be held, and we will
offer you shopping discounts at our 'Boutique'!
Bring your friends and enjoy the warmth of our greenhouse, and
get your hands dirty!     Share a laugh or two, this will be a very informal affair.
The Workshop
You can choose from a 16" Hanging Basket or 16" Patio Tub (or
bring your own container).    We will supply you with the dirt and all of the plants you will need.   You can choose from one of our 'recipes' that we have designed, or create your own.

All for $49.00
(plus tax)
We will watch a brief slideshow about the plants you can choose from.   Then our experienced staff will help you 'create'!    After you are done, you will leave your plant with us until  May - we will give it our T.L.C. until it is grown and ready for you to pick up.
Chi-Scentials Aromatherapy
Kristie and Maria will have a booth here to tell you about Essential Oils (made from plants) and how they can benefit you.    They will have their products available for you to 'smell' and  give you some fun 'recipes' to make with Essential Oils - room spray, hand glaze and more!
